Sakata Inx works closely with key customers to meet the objectives of enhancing operation efficiency & minimise losses during usage of inks & has a well-defined Ink management system & procedures and trained Technical team to supervise the implementation. The system helps to standardize the jobs which ensures predictable results consistently.

Ink management system and technical support is designed to accomplish the following;

  1. To utilise base colour concept (about 15 colours) to avoid high inventory of Fresh Inks in terms of all special colour shades of a job


  2. To provide consistent Press Ready Inks to the press to eliminate the struggle to get the desired colour shade on the press & maintain data and records & reference samples for future matchings
  3. To maintain low inventory of Press Return inks, below assigned limit by ensuring its reuse in different jobs
  4. To provide technical expertise in all aspects of converting operations including cylinder proofing, printing and post printing processes with an idea of single window service
As part of the system Sakata Inx can assist to design and equip the Ink Kitchen Layout, train technical staff and supervise the implementation to meet the agreed objective.



BCM Colour

BCM Colour

BCM Ink (Base of Colour Matching) and Ink-Formulation Software for Colour matching.

Sakata Inx works closely with key customers and offer colour matching support to meet the precise colour matching requirements of offset printers.

Sakata Inx have defined the following;

  • Basic requirements for Setting up the matching centre including list of equipment for shade matching and operations
  • List of Blending bases and additives for matching centre operations to ensure consistent, quick matchings in required quantity
  • 16 blending bases along with Transparent white, Blending medium, Driers, Scuff additives, Liquid Tack reducers, Matting agents etc. are formulated to ensure all matching requirements
  • Guidelines for shade matching and precautions during matching
  • Digital data of the BCM colours & guidelines can also be provided to support colour matching through Ink-Formulation software

    • Sakata Inx helps to train the customer's technicians to use the colour matching software in effective way to achieve desire matching in very short time. This also helps to reproduce consistent colour values and properties.
